Youth Programs
The following youth classes are available at the Virginia Street Church:
Primary
Primary Sunday School classes begins part-way through the Sunday Service, immediately following the Children's Message. The class is taught by rotating teachers, each teaching a unit which lasts approximately four to six weeks. Classes are held each Sunday, with the exception of the first Sunday of the month. This class is geared for children aged three to five.
Junior
Junior Sunday School classes begins part-way through the Sunday Service, immediately following the Children's Message. The class is taught by rotating teachers, each teaching a unit which lasts approximately four to six weeks. Classes are held each Sunday, with the exception of the first Sunday of the month. This class is geared for children aged six to twelve.
Teen
Teen Sunday School begins as the Sunday Service begins. This class is geared for children older than twelve. Children in this class may also participate in the Confirmation Class (see below).
Confirmation Classes
Confirmation Classes are scheduled individually. The minister creates the curriculum and teaches the class. This class is intended to give children a solid understanding of the Swedenborgian church and its beliefs. This class is taken prior to joining the Virginia Street Swedenborgian Church.
